Come ski with veteran heli-ski guide Jessica Baker in Alaska’s Chilkat and Chilkoot Ranges and beyond, based in Haines, Alaska with Southeast Alaska Backcountry Adventures (SEABA). Your base camp will be the historic Fort Seward Lodge in the heart of historic Haines, AK. Deishú is the native Tlingit name for Haines meaning “end of the trail”, and that is what you will find; wild breathtaking mountains meeting the ocean of the Lynn Canal- at the end of the road where the adventure begins.

Haines is known for its spine lines, massive glaciers, perfect powder snow, and majestic peaks sandwiched between Glacier Bay National Park and the Chilkat Inlet. There is terrain for everyone. If you want to go big and ski or ride the most iconic spines in the the world, look no further. If you are looking to experience the highest quality snow in Alaska on big open glacial runs, this is the place. Our runs average 2500 to 5000 vertical feet in elevation, with a permitted tenure of more than 1500 square miles.

Helicopter skiing packages include 7 days of lodging and food, and 4+ Hobbs of helicopter ski time. Week long packages start on the Saturday of each week and go to the following Saturaday. Most international airports have connecting flights to Junuea, AK, where you can then take a SeaPlanes flight, or take the ferry to get to Haines.

Our helicopter pilots are the best. We work with some of the most experienced and talented helicopter pilots in the heliskiing business from Coastal Helicopters (based in Juneau). Our helicopters are A-Star B3 and B2s with room for 4 guests, lead guide, and pilot.

Safety and risk management are top priority. SEABA guides are certified AMGA and IFMGA mountain guides with a lifetime worth of experience in the heli-ski guiding world.
